SDG 8 -
Decent Work and Economic Growth

"Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all."

Using our innovative technology and digitization makes ground transport and logistics companies more efficient and productive and makes truck drivers’ life safer and more accessible.

By creating an intelligent match between logistic companies’ requests and empty vehicles, we reduce “empty rides” on the roads, which helps reduce the number of polluting emissions, and the number of traffic accidents involving heavy vehicles.

Trucknet’s collaborative ecosystem allows many players to cooperate and exposes them to more shipping options than those available in traditional fleet management methods. Drivers can select the best route to drive back and potentially avoid driving around empty. Trucknet’s technology allows the logistics service providers to work with a single operator responsible for moving cargo quickly and efficiently while reducing transportation costs, cargo handling times, and the number of empty trips and polluting emissions.

We make communication between the shipper and the shipping company more accurate and smoother using our application and online mapping routes and chats.

Our platform enables shipping companies to maximize the use of their fleet by adding more fully loaded rides and minimizing empty ones. We also help optimize the shipment through a professional navigation system that calculates the optimal route while considering all relevant factors, including roads suited to the type of vehicle and cargo, traffic loads, and road works.

The customer interface allows load tracking, alerts before arrival, and delay alerts. The driver interface allows work arrangement and navigating instructions that consider the type of vehicle, its weight, size, fuel condition, or battery charge conditions, and gas stations or charging points via the potential route.

We make our customers’ work processes more efficient and less resource-consuming by digitalizing all needed operational documents that we assist with. The digital delivery certificate is sent to the driver through our app and enables the transport to be carried out without paper documentation while providing the customer with Proof of Delivery (PoD).

Beyond reducing paper waste and the chance of losing the paperwork from the shipping case, full digitalization of the procedure allows compliance with regulatory requirements in each country and growing international requirements to unify the process through digital bills of lading (e-CMR). The purpose of the new guidelines concerning the digitalization of cargo in the OECD is to reduce administrative costs, improve the authorities’ enforcement capacity and increase the transport sector’s efficiency and sustainability. These guidelines expected to enter into force in August 2024, so the Trucknet platform is technologically ahead of the industry.

We protect our employees’ rights and promote diversity and inclusion. Working in three different countries contribute us by bringing to the table different points of view, knowledge, and problem-solving approaches.

We established in the southernmost city in Israel, Eilat, which relies mostly on tourism and is home to very few high-tech companies. The city faces an inherent scarcity of workforce, especially in industries that require academic and technological knowledge and training. Trucknet is one of few software companies operating in the city, following our agenda to promote high tech in Eilat.

Trucknet helped open the door into the Israeli tech world for recent immigrants to Israel by training ten such immigrants from France, Russia, and Ukraine over the years and hiring them to the Company’s I.T. department.

Following Trucknet’s DEI policy, 6% of the Company’s workforce today in Romania and Israel are people with disabilities whose working conditions fitted to allow them to work well despite their disabilities.

Trucknet operates in accordance with the relevant labor laws applicable in each country, including minimum wage, working and rest hours and other social rights.

The Company’s Safety and Health Policy seeks to proactively prevent accidents by identifying potential root causes using analysis methods and corrective actions. Which updated timely and distributed to the Company’s employees as part of the Company’s corporate culture.
